Welcome to the page on the SJFC website specifically for supporters with disabilities.
Here at McDiarmid Park we aim to ensure that disabled supporters enjoy their involvement with St Johnstone every bit as much as able-bodied fans. To that end the following information may prove useful.
PARKING
There are 15 designated disabled bays in the stadium car park – 10 outside the West Stand and 5 adjacent to the East and South Stands. A proportion of these are taken on a season-long basis by Saints supporters but the remaining spaces are available on a match-by-match basis. There is no need to pre-book these – simply inform the car park steward of your requirement for a disabled bay. Please note that only vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Parking Badge will be allowed in these spaces.
SUPPORTERS IN WHEELCHAIRS
Home Support: There are 10 wheelchair spaces available in the Main Stand plus another 10 in the East Stand. Access to these positions is entirely on the level and there is a disabled toilet close by. The wheelchair supporter is admitted at a cost of £10 while the carer, who will be allocated a seat in the row behind the wheelchair area, will be admitted free of charge.
For those without season tickets, booking of wheelchair spaces on a game-by-game basis should be done as early as possible in the week prior to the match. Please contact our Ticket Office on 01738 455000 to do this.
Away Support: Away fans in wheelchairs are accommodated in the south end of the West Stand. Please note, this area is not adjacent to where the away support is situated. Access to these positions is entirely on the level and there is a disabled toilet close by. The wheelchair supporter is admitted at a cost of £10 and the carer, who will be allocated a seat in the row behind the wheelchair area, will be admitted free of charge. Booking of wheelchair spaces on a game-by-game basis should be done as early as possible in the week prior to the match. Please contact our Ticket Office on 01738 455000 to do this.
SUPPORTERS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT
The club has 20 seats within the stadium which are fitted with an induction loop that broadcasts commentary on the match provided by Hospital Radio Perth. Please contact our Ticket Office on Perth 455000 to book one of these seats.
