ELTON JOHN CONCERT
Elton John will play McDiarmid Park on Sunday 6th July 2008.
Elton, who has a career spanning more than four decades and boasts global record sales of over 250 million will perform for the first time ever in Perth next summer.
Elton has staged many hugely successful concerts in football clubs around the country over the last few years and next year’s Perth event will be one of only a handful of outdoor shows Sir Elton will undertake.
The combination of Elton John, together with his band, performing in a seated outdoor venue, has always met with tremendous acclaim. This outdoor concert will be staged within the existent facilities of the McDiarmid Park, with reserved seating on the pitch.
Tickets for this fully reserved seated event are priced at £60.00 & £40.00 with a limited number of premium tickets.
The Rocket Man will perform over two hours of hits from an incredible back catalogue spanning over four decades, including the classic hits ‘Your Song’, ‘The Bitch is Back’, ‘Are You Ready For Love’, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ and ‘Daniel’. Still in the charts after 37 years, Elton’s great hits are featured on the current CD, ‘Rocket Man – The Definitive Hits’, and on the Number One DVD ‘Elton 60’, the fabulous recording of Elton’s 60th birthday concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
