Saints have beaten Dunfermline 3-2 to win the Challenge Cup!

Saints, led by Caretaker Manager Sandy Stewart, were three nil up at one stage thanks to a blistering opening half hour in which Paul Sheerin, Peter MacDonald and Kenny Deuchar found the back of the net, but had to deal with a Dunfermline fight back which saw the Pars get a goal back before the interval and then narrow the gap further after the break by way of a penalty kick.

However, Saints survived a late onslaught which included Goran Stanic crashing a clearance off his own bar to spark wild celebrations amongst the sell-out crowd from Perth.
