Alan Main

Alan Main became a goalkeeping legend during his seven year spell with Saints from 1995.

He played in the side that won the First Division title in 1996/97, reached the League Cup Final in 1998 and played in the UEFA Cup in 1999.

After leaving Perth, he gave good service to Livingston and Gretna but in January 2007 he signed a pre-contract agreement with Saints and he is now back in the fold for a second spell with a two year contract behind him.

The match against Stirling Albion in January saw Alan make his 300th appearance for Saints and he seems destined to overtake club record appearance maker, the late Drew Rutherford, in the not too distant future.
